The Lagree Method

Lagree Baby: where slow is your hardest pace.

Lagree is a full-body workout created by Sebastien Lagree that builds strength and endurance at the same time. It’s based on the principle of time under tension: slow, controlled movements, minimal rest and constant resistance keep your muscles working for almost the entire class. That’s what drives muscle growth, while also training balance, stability and cardio fitness, all in 50 minutes on original Lagree machines like the Megaformer Pro and Miniformer Pro.

Low impact

You set the resistance with the springs, so every move stays gentle on your joints and is easy to scale down when you're starting out. The goal stays the same on every level: you work until muscle failure.

High burn

Slow means maximum challenge: with short transitions and no time to rest, your muscles work until they shake. Full Body classes train your entire body, while focus classes put the spotlight on specific areas like your core, abs or booty.

FAQ

What do I need to bring?

Workout clothes, a water bottle and socks. We recommend grip socks, which you can also buy in the studio. Showers, lockers and towels are on site, and we take card payments in the studio.

Can I start as a beginner?

Absolutely! All our coaches offer modifications, and lighter springs let you adapt every exercise to you. That makes our workout truly suitable for every level. Arrive 15 minutes early before your first Lagree class for the first timer introduction, where we explain everything you need to know about the Lagree machine and our workout.

Which machine will I train on?

At our Munich studio in Lehel you train on the Miniformer Pro, in Berlin Mitte on the Megaformer Pro. Both are original Lagree machines with spring resistance and a moving carriage.

Is Lagree like strength Pilates?

Lagree is its own method with its own goals: Pilates focuses on mobility and control, Lagree on strength and endurance. The biggest difference is time under tension: your muscles stay under tension almost the entire class, with slow movements, minimal rest and constant resistance. That way you train strength, endurance, balance, stability and cardio fitness in one workout.

How can I book a Lagree class?

The easiest way is directly at bootcampbaby.de, where you see the full schedule, choose your spot and find all current prices. You can also book through partner platforms like ClassPass, Urban Sports Club, Wellpass or Wellhub. That depends on the studio and the workout, and some bookings come with a surcharge. You'll find all the details on our homepage.
